Hello, Cabin Pressure fandom! After not giving it much thought and making a suggestive, capslock’d post and recieving such enthusiastic replies for some people, a fellow member here has thought: What if we made something to thank John Finnemore for this brilliant show, the upcoming series, for giving us this fanbase and making our lives?

And so, the Cabin Pressure Collab project was born. This project is meant to be a way to show our love for not only the show and its creator, but the fandom itself, and thus, we would be incredibly happy to see you all participate.

The original idea was to get all authors in the fanbase to work on a story together, for which fanartist and Photoshop Skippers of the Cabin Crew would make art, graphics, manips, etc. That said, we know not evryone excels at any of those three things, so this introduction post is our way of asking for suggestions.

Are you good at something that doesn’t enter one of those categories? Do you know anyone who is very talented at an underrated area of fanwork? You don’t feel confident enough in any area, and would prefer to collaborate from the Administration/Newsletter area? Please let us know!

If you’re interested in participating in the project, drop a message on either mine, Franky’s or Barbara’s ask boxes, and please tell us:

• Your preferred name and nationality

• An e-mail address/social network account in which we could contact you (other than Tumblr, of course)

• Your area of work in the project (and that includes the ones that don’t fall into the three main categories)

• Any suggestions that might come to mind regarding the plot of the story

We will make a poll with all the incoming plot ideas as soon as we’ve got enough to do so.
